Citrus Buttermilk Ranch Dressing

Ingredients

  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • ½ cup Mexican Crema
  • 1 medium orange juiced
  • 1 medium lime juiced
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • ½ tablespoon oregano
  • ½ tablespoon black pepper
  • ½ tablespoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Whisk ingredients in a large mixing bowl until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.

Notes

  • If you can get your hands on sour oranges they work well in this dressing in place of the OJ and lime juice.
  • For more flavor, go heavy on the seasoning particularly with the garlic and oregano
  • Don't be afraid of adding some heat to the dressing as the crema will balance things out
  • Let the dressing sit overnight for the flavors to gel even more
